Refund Policy

This refund policy applies to all reservations and all purchases made on j2r.bike or at a J2R stand during an event. It forms an integral part of our General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Reservation.

01 [ Motorcycle Reservations ]

Reserving a J2R motorcycle is a deposit of €250 incl. VAT, fully refundable. It does not constitute a firm order or a contract of sale. No sale is concluded until a Final Sale Agreement has been signed between you and J2R.

You may cancel your reservation and request a full refund of your deposit at any time before signing the Final Sale Agreement, for any reason, with no penalty, no deduction and no administrative fee.

This right is in addition to your statutory fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal provided for in Articles L. 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, and goes beyond it.

How to request a refund: write to us at [email protected] indicating the name and email address used for the reservation. We acknowledge receipt of your request, then the refund is issued to the payment method used for the reservation, in practice within 5 to 10 business days and no later than fourteen (14) days. The amount refunded is identical to the amount paid: if you paid €250, you receive €250.

Cancelling the reservation entails the loss of the priority rank attached to it.

If J2R does not market the reserved model: in the unlikely event that J2R discontinues production of the reserved model, is unable to offer you the signing of a Final Sale Agreement, or decides not to market it, your deposit is refunded to you in full and automatically, with no action required on your part, within 5 to 10 business days from notification.

Changes to specifications or price: the specifications and the price displayed at the time of your reservation are indicative and may change up until the Final Sale Agreement. If a change does not suit you, your right to a full refund remains, at any time.

02 [ Apparel and Accessories (Drops) ]

Items ordered online during a Drop are covered by the statutory right of withdrawal: fourteen (14) days from receipt of your order, with no reason required.

Notify us of your withdrawal at [email protected]. Return the items in new condition, unworn, unwashed, with their tags, within fourteen (14) days. Return shipping costs are at your expense. We refund all sums paid, including standard delivery costs, within fourteen (14) days of receiving the return or proof of shipment.

Regardless of any withdrawal, you benefit from the statutory guarantee of conformity (two years from delivery) and the warranty against hidden defects. For any request in this respect: [email protected].

03 [ Stand Purchases ]

For items purchased and taken away directly at a J2R stand during a trade fair, exhibition or event, the right of withdrawal does not apply, in accordance with Article L. 224-59 of the French Consumer Code. Information to this effect is displayed at the stand. The statutory guarantees apply in all cases.
